Okay, first of all...
It pains me to say this but I expected a lot more from this book after reading and loving the author's other works. The truth is, I did not feel a thing while reading
On the Fence.
There were a few cute moments but the romance felt dull and I didn't even like the main character. I thought Charlie was a little bit of a drama queen and it was annoying how she tried to act all boyish because she thought her brothers will tease her otherwise. I couldn't feel the emotions between her and Braden at all. He was one of those characters whose name I forget the moment I close the book.
The only thing I liked about the book were Charley's brothers. They were fun.
On the Fence was a quick, light summer read, but don't expect deep emotions if you decide to read it...
